Charleston Bachelorette Weekend Itinerary

November 5, 2019

HI! I’m Molly.

Here to encourage you on your own bold pursuit of intentional living as I live out my own. I’m passionate about running, spending time doing what I love and cheering others on to approach running with joy.

This past weekend, eight of us headed to South Carolina to celebrate my sister! I want to share our Charleston bachelorette weekend itinerary.

I cannot take ANY credit for coming up with all of this haha! My sister knew what she wanted and sent me all her ideas. I simply booked everything and researched some restaurants with her and provided feedback. She made it easy as she could’ve on me and everyone was very pleased with the itinerary of the entire weekend. We had SO much fun!! I wish we’d had way more time to explore and wander around, but just means I need to come back :) Charleston is a very popular bachelorette weekend destination and I totally see why!

If you're going to #charleston for a #bachelorette #party, you're in for a great time! We had so much fun exploring the city and I'm sharing our #tripitinerary here! #bacheloretteweekend #bacheloretteideas #charlestonsouthcarolina

FRIDAY

3:00 Late Lunch at Leon's Most of us arrived by 3:00 and went to Leon’s for a quick bite since we hadn’t eaten since breakfast. It’s darling, has a lot of seating and delicious. Don’t be scared by “oysters” if you don’t like oysters because we had some great chicken sandwiches! You’ve got to get the soft serve too

5:00 Check-in & Set Up HouseWe couldn’t stop talking about how perfect The Inns were for our stay: simple check-in, Charleston feel and centrally located. I picked up balloons and a few other things from Cannonborough Collective, which is the cutest little shop! We set up a few other decorations I brought and then we stopped by a grocery store for a few granola bars and what not. 7:00 Dinner at The FelixThe Felix had a great atmosphere, our service was great and again, the food was awesome. It was walking distance from our home and potentially my favorite meal from the trip! Highly recommend. 9:30 Lingerie Shower We’d intended on having this at Skinny Dip, but there were hiccups in communication with them, so it didn’t work out. But that is always an option! We had fun doing this back in our comfy clothes in our home!

SATURDAY

9:15 Yoga at Hampton Park All of us agreed we liked having something active scheduled and it was very peaceful being surrounded by nature! We booked through Serenity Tree Yoga and they were extremely easy to work with. 11:00 Brunch at Callie’s Hot Little BiscuitThis place is tiny and crowded, but coming here was so worth it! A lot of us called this one out as our favorite meal from the week it was that good! We waited for quite a bit and then brought them back to our house.

1:00 Explore CharlestonThere wasn’t as much time in between these as we’d expected because biscuits took awhile, but we were able to walk around our area more and see fun spots before getting to the harbor!

2:00 Boat Ride FAVORITE ACTIVITY! We spent two hours sailing and the weather was beyond perfect. I’d had snacks from Caviar & Bananas delivered to the harbor (extremely easy to order and get delivered). I booked through Charleston Sailing Adventures, who were beyond kind. We blasted Abba, popped some champagne and had an absolute blast. 4:30 Carriage RideWe made it to this right on time because the boat ride finished up a bit later than I was expecting, but luckily it’s SO close to where we already were! There are multiple companies you can book a carriage ride through and we went with Palmetto Carriage. We sat 4 per row and loved hearing more about the history of the city.

6:00 Explore CharlestonRainbow Row was very close to the carriages and it was SOO CUTE! I love how vibrant all of the colors are. After that, we walked along King Street and popped into a few stores along the way back to our house. 8:30 Dinner at Ms. Rose’sThe atmosphere was very different than what we were expecting, but we were happy because there was a giant tv by us that we got changed to a football game haha! It’s very diner-esque and relaxed feel with GREAT food and drinks. 10:00 Drinks and DancingWe went back to King Street to go out for the night! Prohibition was our favorite because it had the best dancing :)

SUNDAY

11:00 Brunch at 82 QueenWe stayed out pretty late, so we spent our morning sleeping and picking back up the house! A few of us popped into the coffee shop nearby, Brown's Court Bakery , and one next door, Coquin. SO cute! We went to brunch at 82 Queen and it was beautiful! We’d had a lot of heavy, southern meals by then, so a lot of us got salads, but even those were fantastic.  1:00 Explore CharlestonCharleston has SO much to see that we still had a lot of places left on our list! We walked along the loveliest streets and made it to Pineapple Fountain. It’s delightful! 2:00 Head to the airport :( So sad.

We had THE BEST time seeing Charleston for the first time and I cannot wait to go back one day! Have you been to Charleston before?
